Jabra Elite 5 has 3 MEMs microphones, including feedforward and feedback mic for hybrid noise cancellation. On paper, this specification matches the high-end earbuds like the Air Pods Pro 2, Jabra Evolve2 earbuds and Jabra Elite 7 Pro. Moreover, the Jabra Elite 5, like the Jabra Elite 3 and 4, supports the Q-aptX codec, a high-resolution 24-bit music quality over Bluetooth.
Both earbuds have adjustable ANC, equaliser and transparency (hear-through) via the Jabra+ app on the phone.
The Jabra Evolve2 earbuds do not support Q-aptX codec; however, offers hearing protection through PeakStop™ technology that blocks sudden spike in loud noise. It also does not explicitly state the support for one-touch Spotify playback, but we believe this is enabled as long as Spotify is active on the phone.

Jabra Evolve2 earbuds excel in the connectivity specifications by having a USB Type A or Type C dongle that attaches to the computer or laptop. This dongle helps to double the operating range, and improve the stability and call clarity for teleconference. You will need to decide and select the type of USB dongle at the time of purchase.
Another advanced feature is the bone conducting sensor that is found on very few earbuds models in the market. The bone-conducting sensor detects your voice via sound conduction through the jaw bone and helps improve the transmitted voice’s clarity.
